Central Arkansas Athletics – Bears Travel to Georgia for J.T. Poston Invitational

CONWAY, Ark. – The University of Central Arkansas men’s golf team returns to action for the 2020 J.T. Poston Invitational at Cateechee Golf Club in Hartwell, Georgia, on Sunday.
 
The tournament is hosted by the Cateechee Golf Club and Armis Advisers. The event is named in the honor of former Western Carolina men’s golfer and current PGA Tour Professional, J.T. Poston. Cateechee is a 6,570-yard, par 71 course.
 
UCA will be joined by Appalachian State, Chattanooga, Emmanuel, Mercer, Piedmont, and Western Carolina.
 
For the third-straight week, Blaine Calhoon, Davis Irving, Nate Jolly, Palmer McSpadden, Miles Smith, and Josh Turnock will represent the Bears. The squad made improvements from week one to week two with an eighth-place finish last weekend.
 
The first round is scheduled for an 8 a.m. EST, start time. Follow along live on GolfStat.
